Surely as a "student" of Australian politics raider you must realise that political expediency is the main determinant of both major Party's policies.

I haven't counted how many initiatives Scomo has instigated however, he continues to impress far more than the Wentworth waffler.

I have no particular love for any politician, and like most, believe this country could be so much better. I don't know what the answer is, perhaps a longer Parliamentary term could be a start to partially avoid the short term selfishness of politicians in keeping their positions and the lack of longer term planning for the good of the country. We call all theorise on the ways to optimise political action on behalf of the country, however, atm we are stuck with a short 3 year (or less) political cycle which has serious shortcomings.

I do like the way Morrison is performing and his positive and pro-active attempts to be seen as a man of action rather than talk.

As I said, given time, I believe that common sense will prevail and the Australian public will see Scott Morrison and the Coalition as a far more electable than the regressive, socialist alternative.
