JonesBoy, my apologies to you, I did not see your later post until after I had written my last post and refreshed.
All I am trying to get people to do is to ask "Why does property rise" and break it down to fundamental drivers of that rise.
If you do that clinically you can them monitor those drivers and have forewarning of when change is imminent.
I am very intruiged about the events in London and would like to understand them more. If I understand then I will know what the warning signs here will be.
One last thing. It is important to differentiate between the people who argue from the standpoint of dispassionate reason and the others who start with a desired outcome and then selectively quote data, twist data, outright lie, and ignore contrary information all in support of forecasting their desired outcome.
I don't know what they hope to gain by doing that on a forum like this. Indulging fantasies is all I can come up with.
