19. Market abuse
(1) We will frequently hedge our liability to you by opening analogous
positions with other institutions or in the Underlying Market. The result
of our doing this is that when you open or close a Transaction relating
to a share or other Instrument with us, your Transactions can, through
our hedging, exert a distorting influence on the Underlying Market for
that Instrument, in addition to the impact that it may have on our own
prices. This creates a possibility of market abuse and the function of
this Term is to prevent such abuse.
So my point being is if u've bought 8 aussie ig contracts which is at 25 bucks a point u've infact opened 8 spi contracts worth around $ 1.2 million so reading the above they may of placed them in the normal market and also placed your stops there as well .
Not sure about stops but wouldn't it be logical ?
Ask volt how many points he's seen the market run just to grab his stops [think it was 2004 or 2005 ] and it was a huge stop run not just 10 or 20 points .
