Unfortunately, remuneration is a standard term that needs to be renewed and included in the resolutions for an AGM. No correlation with acquisitions made. Look at upcoming AGM resolutions for other shells; CR1 TIN LSA etc. If only it was that easy to time when you bought shells.
They're also being paid peanuts anyway, in line with the company's scale-down in operations, till a project is found.
