OCCAM'S RAZOR applied to one Trump phenomenon...NORTH KOREA

Think logically of the North Korea situation.
Since the Korean War in the 1950s, the Korean peninsula has been split by two regimes that have been implacable enemies. They have technically remained in a state of war for 50 years, with no formal cessation of hostilities.
The differences in the philosophies, ideologies, and economic condition of the two countries have been striking and do not need to be recapped here.
North Korea was percolating as a potential conflict from the time of the Bush presidency, through to the last days of the Obama regime. Missile tests, fear, war drums.
The Trump is elected. Within two years, the situation is completely turned around...Kim actually praising Trump, promising to de-nuclearize, and talks started with South Korea on unification.
How does one explain it, that Trump was able to stabilize the situation for the better so quickly, where others had failed for 50 years ?

2. OCCAM'S RAZOR EXPLANATION...The North Korean regime was controlled by Deep State and CIA operatives to provide an enemy for the United States. In fact North Korea was supported and enabled by the controllers to provide
a "danger", one that the US could actually go to war with, with minimal consequences to the US...other than the deaths of Koreans and US servicemen, and risk of conflict with China.
The North Korean regime was thus blackmailed by support and money from Deep State sources or black slush fund operations (like the cash to Iran).
What Trump did was to free the North Korean leadership from the blackmail arrangement.
While necessarily somewhat speculative, there is substantial circumstantial evidence for this hypothesis.
Leading Democrats like Pelosi visited North Korea. Google was outed installing high tech computers there.
But the main thing is the visible political results and the turnaround. The missile launches were creating media fodder, the war drums were beating.
So it is speculation. But how else can the situation be explained ?
