Phylogica is somewhat like a duck gliding across a pond. Nothing much appears to be happening on top of the water but underneath its paddling like mad. The CEO letter outlined three priority cargo classes which have been identified for progression into the clinic with three secondary priorities also being advanced in partnership with third parties: MTAs left right and centre and two major publications delivered in the last quarter. One of those publications is potentially of global significance in drugging the undruggable Myc.

Unfortunately, its difficult to see underwater to gain traction on who is talking to whom and when pen is put to paper.

One point of interest in biotech land is that Janssen has recently granted exclusive worldwide rights to the Centyrin IP estate - think alternative scaffolds - to a startup biotech called Aro Biotherapeutics. One of the co-founders will be known to long time followers of Phylogica - Karyn O'Neil was the former venture leader for Centyrex, a unit housed within J&J.
