There is widespread and understandable paranoia in the wider community about nuclear radiation. Unseen, unfelt, unheard and potentially deadly, nuclear radiation is nightmare territory. The fact that anthropogenic nuclear radiation deaths are incomparably small compared deaths from naturally occurring radiation makes no difference to the fear. The fear is real even if the reasoning behind it is not.

Describing HFR energy as green nuclear is true but misleading. Yes nuclear disintegrations have produced the heat but these are natural disintegrations over hundreds of millions of years and they have not produced a higher concentration of decay products in the superheated groundwater than would be expected in the water from other artesian bores. GDY would be well advised to promote the green aspects of HFR energy rather that its very tenuous links to nuclear power.
