I didn't intend to ignore you, in fact one of the reasons I cop so much flack is because I reply to most questions and challenges. Probably not a smart thing.

In fact I wrote quite a lengthy reply about "the early days" especially the switch fron AUFI to CVI for Mark and Ian ( through Zebra)
I also wrote about the demise of Simba mines when Simba sold its prime asett to "Zebra"
Seen the Simba price lately, after that asset sale. I feel very sorry for the shareholders.

It was a long post but but I changed my mind and deleted it in the end. Sorry but is there anything you wish to have me reply to you about?

Questions surround the resignation of President José Eduardo dos Santos's confidant, special consultant and billionaire Arkady Gaydamak, on 6 April, as well as the fate of Gaydamak's diplomatic passport.

The Angolan diplomatic passport has given Gaydamak protection against an international arrest warrant issued by the French authorities in connection with the Angolagate arms scandal. Gaydamak has consistently denied any wrongdoing in the affair.

A decade ago President Dos Santos announced that Gaydamak and his associates were 'national heroes' in Angola.

Now Gaydamak's relations with Luanda have soured: he has not been seen in Angola since last year (AC Vol 48 No 10). His last job appears to have been representing Angola's interests in Russia.
