We confirm that BARD1 only received email advice from our patent attorneys FB Rice today 24/10/18 that Chinese Patent number 201610347489.9 had been granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration on 28/9/18.
The owner/assignee of a patent (BARD1) does not have control over when it receives information from foreign patent offices related to the official issue of its patents. You will note that similar periods have occurred between patent announcement dates and patent issue dates on all previous occasions.
BARD1 released the patent announcement to the ASX today upon receipt of the advice today.
We hope this clarifies the matter"
