I think that people are preserving their position through cash and are also becoming very reactionary to any news either way to markets in general and cannot bring themselves to focus on long term stocks....or potential or great stories that go with the 'future' manufacturing industries and products to be where it is at. Running scared is becoming more the go with calmer investments less and less interesting. It will pass too as Gandalf said.
