RMS can just finish exploiting whatever resources remain at EM and possibly Marda and anything they can find at Holleton and sniff out any other possible opportunities. GML have a tenement near EM. I don’t know if it’s prospective and there will be other greenfield ground. Without enough feed though the operation is likely to be high cost and short life. Eventually they would be forced to put EM on C&M and possibly thereafter close the mine which would trigger non-insubstantial closure costs.
I can’t see ALK and RMS getting into a bidding war as neither company really has the muscle IMO. A cooperative development agreement seems the sensible way to move the project forward. Once the mine is funded then maybe a merger could be on the cards. Better being a lover than a fighter.Esh
