Just some more bullish thoughts for the weekend. (are you ready for this golfer?)

I liked the interview with David Pathe the Gm of SherritInternational who mine nickel and Cobalt at the Moa mine in Cuba (I went there recently) -By the way thats the 4th biggest mine/reserve  in the world (CLA should be the 5th biggest after jorc upgrade). The bit I found most interesting was when he said they have around 30 customers who want to buy the cobalt from them. Morover he said on two occasions they were not overly concerned with the price -but much more with the security of supply and also more and more nowadays with ethicalness of the supply.

This is most encouraging for CLA.

IMO Most companies spending billions now on any of the 40 battery making these megafactories for bartteries now being built (with many more estimated to come) just really want their cobalt supply secured so they dont loose billions.(its a small part of their overall picture/ investment etc)  they probably dont minds overpaying to get the supply to ensure their much bigger investment doesnt sheet the bed...and that their potential over all profitability pays off

What this means is they all will most surely be be looking for a big new resource of cobalt (especially Fresh sulphide Co) to guarantee their supply for next 25 years+++ -and preferably not one in DRC (potentially unsure supply - also doubts of ethical sourcing etc) or even Cuba (political considerations .. possible US sanctions risk etc..)  

So which is the then the next biggest resource in the world??   Opuwo!!. (cheers from the crowd)

who is the only huge resource not yet bought out by a major-Opuwo!! (whoops from the crowd)

Name a country that has noreal political enemies- that gets on with all countries- receives lots of foreign aid, has the world sympathies, a proven tracjk record of supporting winning,  and not encumbered by  ethical sourcing .......Nambia and Opuwo!!

Also id go as far as to say that as Opuwo is cobalt led finacially - even end users may be more interested. most dont want to dig up and dispose of 10 tons of copper or nickel (and be exposed to thjose markets)- just to get their 1 ton of Cobalt.

So which is already the biggest finacially cobalt led resource -Opuwo!!

which has is the only only free to be boufhr right now at a bargain basement price (Golfer for one is  apparently a seller at USD 90 mill - when all similar sized resources are worth 5-20 times that)

with all the billions and billions going into the EV.green power and battery making now -do you really think that if someone had to over-pay by 100 million or so to confirm their ethical cobalt supply they wouldn t to get such a resource. Do you think 100 mill USD really matters to Apple Volswagen or BMW to be able to say all their gadgets/cars are confirmed  to use ethical cobalt and help Africa by planting trees nearby etc etc.. (stuff that can be done in nambia and balived -not in DRC)-that would add 100 mill USD to their sales in a week or two.

So even if SS is marginal -then It could be that the big boys  wil probably still pay for it to mine it just to get the supply so the opther 99% of the huge EV /battery making/green power /super allow markets can work.
