well Im not sure the consensus among the actual climate scientists is toward global warming, there are lots of politicians jumped on the global warming wagon but the actual experts are portraying a slightly different set of scenarios
The scientists are basically saying climate change has always been with us and always will be, they are saying it the planet naturally varies its temperatures anyway and that we are in a natural warming cycle and that many times in the past we have very abrupt cooling cycles or mini ice ages, these cooling cycles are caused by changed in sea currents and the oceanographers noticed 2 years ago that the gulf stream was changing at a very quick rate and if the gulf stream kept changing at this pace then it would stop.
If that happens most of Europe , Russia and China would be plunged into a mini ice, the point being most of the world might be to busy merely surviving to worry much about carbon emissions
who knows who right, none of us here are qualified, its just something thats under the radar for most at the moment
if the cooling folk are right and they seem very qualified we might have something right upon us that most of the world wasn't expecting
