Can someone please explain why the ASX query a stock that has risen significantly for no apparent reason, but do not raise the same query when a stock goes down for no apparent reason? eg SDL has dropped from 31c to 23c after discovering one billion tonnes of iron ore. Why??
Us traders are clearly not on the same playing field as those institutions who play around with their clients money, manipulating shares for their advantage. More transparency is clearly needed with what institutions do with other people's money to give us traders a fair go, and also to avoid collapses like OPES and other hedge funds.
