hi hector , I agree wholeheartedly with you that people should look sceptically at this....and everything. One point re the ph.d. thing....i tried years ago to really understand the whole global warming science, and at a certain point i became like you or i, i presume , getting advice from a specialist re an impending operation. At a certain point , you know that you cannot fit many years of study into a few weeks to even know the really relevant questions to ask ,so you just...accept the advice from the specialist, or get a second opinion...another SPECIALIST.
Sorry if i was a bit obtuse , but my point was simply that so many ph.d's in climatology involved in the climatic conclusion led me to view the situation as parallel to the above with the surgeon.A ph.d is not something one generally garners without rather intense intellectual effort , and shouldn't be discarded so readily.
