    Most of the stuff I have read said that Sodium-Ion was more targetted at stationary storage.

    I remember this was discussed at the Bemchmark Minerals conference and supported this view.

    Stationary storage is a crowded market. You have Li-ion, VFRB, Na-ion etc.

    Nothing is close to competing yet in electronics and EV market. It's likely solid state Li will be commercialised by the time any other chemistry hits its first iteration.

    Agree stationary storage might be disrupted but in my opinion for the EV market inertia of time and dollars is well behind Li. There are 50 gigafactories planned to be completed within 10 years. 100's of billions of dollars commited. That isn't easily wound back.
