Here's something for readers to ponder.

This narrative of the EV revolution being really beneficial to the environment is a false one. Here's why!

The whole idea of the EV revolution, is to replace the conventional MV from cities / urban area's. By doing so, this transfers the vehicles pollution, from the cities to the power generation plants a few hundred km away in regional area's. Bingo, city air quality drastically improved. Everyone's happy.

As far as an overall net saving on pollution is concerned, both the EV & MV are equal on the pollution stakes when every know factor is taken into account at the end of the day, and measured off against each other. There's plenty of quantifiable data available for research.

Of course the narrative wants to portray that the EV is saving the planet bigtime, it makes it an easy sell for the EV sales, and to get legislation changes.

The fact is EV are only transfering the pollution problem to a more suitable location, it's not the great environmental fix as marketed. It is a huge benefit for urban populations air quality and that makes the EV concept a good one.
