Try visiting Aldi before committing yourself in writing. It stocks many lines that are not "home brands". For instance Vegemite and Nescafe cannot be termed as "home brands".
However, I'm glad that you introduced the question of homebrands though, because the duopoly you have spoken in support of are increasingly moving to "homebrands" of their own.
The strategy is targeted at grabbing marketshare from the traditional producers of these products who have to toe the line (and produce the labels for them) or face losing place on the shelves of the duopolists altogether.
