You shouldnt worry so much about competition etc as this market will be absolutely capable of supporting many players. All players will cross promote by default, the more the better, the bigger the profile the better. The sooner we get to a choice of mchp rather than a question of using one at all, the better.
CFU have previously stated they have what they believe to be the best overall package on offer but this matters only so much in the context of the overall market for mchp.
Lots of different products will launch for all sorts of reasons, mchp is an energy sector product and thus will be influenced by any number of manipulations and justifications. The specs of the various devices may well be similar as this sector gains momentum, being first to market is great but having long term volume delivery strategies is much better. CFU have partnerships/supply strategies that trump the competition, in addition to having a polished product, thats their strength.
