hmmmm - perhaps it might be the persecution, threats of war, bombings of families and homes and property that make parents say - 'come on, we have to get out of here'
if they can be blamed for that - well, go ahead - blame them
maybe, just maybe if the US stopped interfering in countries where many of these people flee from - they wouldn't have to flee in the first place???
but, then - perhaps the US feels some guilt about that - because many from Naru have departed for the USA - as the vast majority of people held in these detention off shore processing centres ARE found to be genuine refugees
