Perhaps if Senator Storer (and the Labor Party's ABC) had first bothered to take even just a minute to look at his own latest Tax Return Receipt from the ATO he would have seen there that Australia's current level of Government gross debt stands at $533 Billion and that they're now already spending 40% of Australia's entire Budget, on Welfare handouts. After paying for everything else to keep this entire country running, it doesn't really then leave much available for them to be 'splashing out subsidies' for "the take up of electric vehicles".

They could provide tax incentives... and not give $444 million to organisations with dubious credentials...
