Thanks for your reply. Maybe you misunderstood me about a takeover..of course PXS will have to carry all the risks first. I have spoken to McGarvey on a couple of occasions back in 05, found him to be very professional.

I have lopez on ignore and can't be bothered going through the posts, however, I did see briefly last week in reference to options been exercised. If that is what ashlopez is referring to they were only very small volume. Certainly not enough to start a stampede.

The PXS chart had been tradeable (from the long side) for quite a while. It was a rectangle break in aug 07 and then was forming another rect through to Jan 08. Its failure to the downside of that pattern would have hit some conditional stops at 3.80ish and then the break of 2.97/3.00 would have signalled more stops. I don't see any "leaks" causing this sell off, just a continual downturn due to stops been hit, and a overall pessimistic market. Shares like PXS got hit hard because they have no earnings and an uncertain future.

Some may scoff at charting, but thats how it is. It is testing some serious long term support so if that holds, and if the market stabilises, it could get back to 3.00ish before aug/sept08. Would suggest anybody trying to pick the bottom with this one run a tight stop, unless an entry is made with a longer term view.

Ashgrove, don't even bother posting back some nonsense about me being a charting guru. The charts have served me well over that past few years and in regards to PXS I did see this topping out as the technicals were weak at the 4.50ish high. I did the maths on the cap gains tax and didn't think it was worth selling, heheheh..bit annoyed now because I could have doubled my holdings at this level. But then again if it falls to .50 (based on no further news) I could have quadrupled my holdings :(
