If the 2 doctors couldn't agree on 1 in 3 diagnosis results, wouldn't it have been smarter to scrap those patients from the study? The app should only be compared against 100% confirmed diagnosed patients or patients in the all clear. It should have never been compared against patients with an unclear diagnosis by the 2 doctors. Another alternative would be to bring in multiple doctors to get a majority vote on those results, not just one extra doctor who could swing either way.
