I absolutely 100% believe we should always support our soldiers. What I take issue with is the reason our soldiers are being used as pawns. I used to be pro USA. I will always believe that we should support them whenever needed. After all, who do you think we will be calling on if anyone north of us tries to invade. Like it or not, we need the US. What I do take issue with is the propaganda campaign orchestrated by the US. Weapons of mass destruction? Why do we have the UN when the US think they are bigger than them. I believed that invading Iraq was the right thing to do. After all, the western media told us that the US had proof and that Sadam was a tirent. What frustrates me is that there is genicide going on all over the world. To extents greater than Iraq. But, the western world idly sits by and lets it happen. I think it's a disgrace what has happened. It's silly to suggest that our leaders should be tried for war crimes, but someone should be held accountable. The western world have only fuelled the fire and given fanatics an excuse/reason to avenge the west. I just feel for anyone who loses their life in something that was orchestrated out of greed and propeganda.
