It’s all about energy supply, and if Linc can do it, then oh yeah, Krudd and mates will be there for the photo op. that’s the thing. IF this works, it has significant positive consequences for Australia reliance on alternative energy sources, as well as domestic sources. While one might have personal opinions of K-Rudd (Like 99% of politicians I don’t really like this guy either- I find him smarmy- but I give the guy credit, he hasn’t put a foot wrong yet and is actually doing stuff), Fergo, Swan, Bligh- they aren’t dummies. Alright, maybe one of the aforementioned are. Yes they want to be seen with winners firstly, but they also have the interests of Australia in mind as well. They wouldn’t risk even mentioning Linc if it could cost them publicity points.
FWIW the share price will rock and roll a lot as there are still big gaps in the bid/ ask. But like said, if someone wants to get set they have to take out a lot of Ask positions. Ditto to sell, you take out a lot of Bids, so the price is likely to go up and down 10 and 15c chunks at a time. This is great to watch- even better being a shareholder.
Once Linc hits the ASX300 its game on.
