Period 3 of the Genel/Sterling PSA with Somaliland ended yesterday. I would expect an announcement shortly stating the 4th Period has begun, requiring 1,000km of 2D seismic acquisition and one exploration well by May 2, 2020. Note JKA does not get to play their 5% until the second well or Period 5, due May 2021. Genel is hinting at spud of the first well in late 2019. Can’t wait for the JKA/ PVD Directors to pull the rabbit out of their hats.
