There is a significant amount of merit to what you have said,GunnerGeek. In addition, I’m far more ignorant toeards successful strategies in this space than I am experienced so I won’t pretend to know what I do not.

The above said, and not to imply I believe you may be wrong, the BIT strategy of confidentiality (to me) is not one fit for the purposes of driving an increase in their target market or products value (ie; Big Pharma and BIT-255 respectively).

Were BIT to have a bonefide product to sell. The logical strategy (to me) would be full exposure. Sell it like house.   Open the doors. Show the place off. Let everyone know what they are competition to buy, in relation to each other and the what else is available on the wider market. And sell for the highest fee you can get. In addition, being this house is exclusive and reported to be the best version of a house on the market to date. I’d sell it at auction and make the interested parties battle to the death for it.

In the currently speculated scenario of BIT taking themselves to market in confindence I can only be certain of three things.

    1. I’m not sure what exaclty they are selling.

    2. I don’t know to whom they are explicitly try to sell two.

    3. They would be giving full disclosure of 1 to 2.

Nothing about my above ideas dimishes what is possible. In fact it enhances what is possible.

To speculate wildly. BIT may be currently negotiating a bonefide, clinically ready, phase 3 ready, BIT-225 compound with a health insurance jugganaut in either or both China or the USA rather than and / or in additon to Big Pharm. It would be an absolute disruption to industry to  deliver a succesful cure strategy via the private health sector. It is an outlook well worth considering and would have been my advice to them as something to thoroughly investigate - very confidentially - If I were a strategist there. Even if laughed out the room.

In my judgement only. A cure for HIV has significantly more value to the health insurance sector than Big Pharma. Only one “Big Pharma” can win from a cure for HIV, and whether an existing player in the HIV space or not, it would be dog eat dog to get it, and the winner possibility eating a bit of themselves. The winner may own the space for a while or at least a head start that would slaughter any completion, but a cure is a result. Not a consumable product.

Should BIT break new ground and attempt to develop a cure strategy through the a private health model. The health insurance partner could dominate the consumer market in the Viral space and omit big Pharma (to some degree) from ruling the roost in terms of taking the product to market and determining price position.

Yes, my Ideas can be very wild at times. And yes, some times very grand. But there is no reason why this is not possible. It would be a game changer. And BIT are currently sitting in the drivers seat of what is possible.

My wild ideas aside. And to offer an opposing consideration to my more positive ideas. Selling in secret can mean another thing. And that thing, in my opinion and experience, is not better.

BIT are looking for something specific. The sale is invite only or perhaps they are even going door to door. BIT doesn’t have something everyone will want. They have something they want to sell (ie: a partnership they need more than their target require). They don’t need or want everyone need to see what they are selling. They just need one person to answer the door and say yes. Should BIT be knocking on doors right now, they more likely selling “the next step” and a possibility of a cure rather than a probabable cure. And it already has a price tag, they choose for it.

Until I have concrete evidence of any possibility. To me,

both of the above are equally possibility based on BITs announcements to date. Until then, I’ll dream of what’s possible while thoroughly analysing it all - and maybe also try to work out how the F you guys read charts. Still a mystery to me but keen to learn.
