I agree to an extent, although it’s been the same with immigrants for generations. Old italaians and Greeks in Carlton and Brunswick still stick together. And you wouldn’t need to look to hard to find some that can’t speak English despite being here 40 plus years.

Asians were the target of racists in the 90s, Indians in the 2000s.. Now it’s the Africans. Bad apples amongst every race.

Do you think that woman would feel the same about every white person if it was white guys who broke into her house? I doubt it.

The main thing I took away from it is that the media love to report on any piece of crime by an African. It sells. Fear is good for business. It’s pretty much what the right wing hero in America calls “fake news”. Yet the right wingers are so deluded they don’t even know what fake was is. If they don’t agree with something it’s dismissed as fake news.
