He Steve - looks like I’m guilty of a bit of sloppiness myself! The opaqueness I was referring to was the valuation for impairment testing and in particular the basis for the discount rate to have reduced from ~16% to ~12%. VGI claiming that at the original discount rate the goodwill in the US business would be close to being impaired ... and still querying who gave expert opinion for the discount rate to change in their rebut this morning.
