Some good initiatives but boy have they made a meal of them.

They built a train line to encourage commuters off the over crowded freeways. They forgot to allow enough room for the car parking at the train stations...oops

Premier Carpenter gets a shalacking from the media particularly our one and only daily paper. Some deserved and some not imo. Poor guy has aged 20 years. I think he would be happy to tell them all to shove it.
However like most states...we can't get the balance right when it comes to spending. No room in hospitals, teachers on strike for more pay, under policed and the worse magistrates in the country. and worse yet we have an opposition leader with a bad case of the sniffles.
However it is not all doom and gloom.
We are getting a Ferris Wheel!!!
roll up roll up...you can go on the 2 minute walk up the Bell Tower and then ride the Ferris Wheel.
