I recognise some commentary is in the SS at a high level.  I am referring to  extraction in production, i.e. what to be taking out first and the mix of quantity between the different layers, and with the high prices wouldn't be surprised if pit design is lengthened by the way to ensure more of the oxidies layers are taken out first, which might also mean having a larger pit (or several pits which obviously also means minelife extension assumption). 

A thing I have noticed with VA, before the SS he was inferring in his 'presentations' that he thought vanadium prices will settle back in a few years times while more recently he is actually inferring the resettling in prices is pushed further back (i.e. he is a little more bullish of late than before reading in between the lines IMO - refer point 4 in this post, and compare to subsequent statements of late - Post #: 35904467

Yep agree late 2020/early 2021will be tight.  At worse they need to be in production by late 2021 IMO to maximise benefits IMO as per the earlier post of mine. 

Also agree that they move full steam ahead and target the steel market first. 

From the SS I think they were either looking at two options for 99.5% - a 'bolt on' facility at site for producing 99.5% or doing it offsite, which suggests the plant itself for 98% min grade doesn't need to be tinkered with that much if and when they decide to move in the 99.5% space (given the SS implied that facility can be bolted on if they decided to do it at minesite).
