Hi Funkmaster. Funny you put this topic up for discussion now as I’ve been meaning to write something about it here. 

I’m in India atm. Just arrived in Udaipur. We’ve seen loads of e-rickshaws prior to here. Good to see. On my phone only, so I’ll do my best. 

Do do you know big companies in the states have inflated their own stock prices by buying back a record USD384 billion of their own stock in the first half of 2018?! This is for various reasons. I’m sure we could make a list. Of course it looks good for them, it justifies management wages, bonuses, the companies look like their doing just fine etc. It has been called “Bubble Finance”. This is part of setting the stage of a big problem there, but not what I want to go into here.
So I’m not a big fan of a buy back for Galaxy. Don’t get me wrong, I think we are undervalued previously, now and at higher levels, as you may know. If our price is forced up by a buy back, it could come down again. 1. Through shorting, as this could be a tool for them to add to their story eg. artificial rise. 2. What if we have any sort of correction or even a crash to whatever extent and.....there goes the price again. I’m not an expert on buy backs, so someone might put forward a different view I’m happy to hear. 

Therefore, if there is any reward from Galaxy for LT’s and other holders, (I’m an 8 year holder, but have traded as well and am happy to be well in front) I would like to receive a dividend for my faith and perseverance. I think my kids who have small holdings would love a bit of a kick back also. If the price goes down whenever, you don’t loose your dividend, it’s yours! It is a show of strength for the company anyway and isn’t that part of the point?

I think the market itself will reward Galaxy eventually. I have faith in that, so we don’t need it to go up by being pumped up. I guess you could say you could then sell and maybe get more than a dividend possibly, but then profit taking also brings the price down. 

Anyway, just my thoughts. I’m sitting back quite relaxed and loving watching it all unfold and will keep doing this for many years to come.
