Speaking of need for electricity- problems in southern Africa- Q:Where is this mine? A:Its on the edge of one of the hottest and driest areas on planet earth. The great Namib desert. The sun blazes down. It almost never rains. Sun....? Ring any bells ? Where better for a solar generation farm? Batteries/rows of sun following shiny arcs like they use in the USA, near Death Valley. That is cheap cheap power. Plenty of it. Why fight nature-if its a hot hell of a spot-use the heat-its free! Just needs a bit of concentration. Could even sell into the grid at some stage. There could be as much money in generating solar power as there is in mining uranium. Then there are the credits to sell? ie we keep fighting the planet all the time when we should be surfing it. Its much more profitable and less hassle.
