Was a great announcement yesterday. The buy the rumour/sell the news was an obvious play yesterday but a tad risky IMO when you consider what else is lined up shortly, possibly even today.
When considering life of mine some of the figures here are suggesting 100% recovery rates, that is not going to happen. Recovery rates can be anywhere from 30-80% so based on the upgraded (and 100% indicated) JORC it would be reasonable to expect 8 years at 15ktpa. Doesn't sound like a lot, BUT, consider this is largely a halite salar, i.e porous, i.e. permeable so repleneshing is REAL with good flow rates. And consider that the drill holes are open at depth so the JORC will be upgraded significantly again so I have no concerns about mine life or the annual production in the future and having communicated with JV about this a while back I know he is not concerned either.
Certainly not down ramping, AGY is getting it done, just keeping it in perspective and just my opinion.
