Thanks for mentioning the executive wages rony18.Looking at the SP trajectory over the past 27 months (August 2016 - Nov 2018), a majority of shareholders will probably vote against AGM resolution no.1 (adoption of the remuneration report), just like they did in 2017.
The two strikes rule will apply this year & resolution no.19 comes into play for a board spill meeting. If more than 50% of shareholders vote for a board spill, the current directors, with the exception of BD, will need to get re-elected: it's unfortunate BD's executive position isn't up for shareholder vote.
There's some cost involved in setting up a spill meeting within 90 days of the AGM, however, the process might give the SP a boost as well as saving valuable dollars to invest in gold production rather than boosting the executive pay packets. With the SP floundering around at 4 cents (or less), the executive board need to deflate their entitlement expectations. IMO, they'll deserve a pay rise when the SP is flying somewhere above 20 cents.
