    Guten Morgen from Berlin, Germany.

Well, it's very interesting over here. On my flight from Zurich all the way to Berlin the landscape had solar farms but most predominantly wind farms sticking up through the low lying clouds doing their thing.

I initially started out taking photos of the ones I saw, then as the plane kept going it probably appeared that I was taking photos of the entire land under the flight so I stopped.

These guys are serious about running the country off renewable energy, even if the only electric cars I have seen so far have been the toyota hybrid prius taxi's running around and these two photos.

In other news...Whilst trying to catch up on what has been made whilst in the air this is what I found.

Macri bets on lithium: he anticipated that Argentina "may become the world's leading producer"

Urtubey and Posco authorities analyzed the progress of the lithium production project

There was also another article HERE

Some interesting parts of those articles which stood out to me are:

"...the company Posco , one of the leaders in terms of lithium production worldwide, will invest 450 million dollars in Salta and Catamarca."

"Posco Argentina, which will make a large investment in Salta and Catamarca for the production of Lithium"

Sal De Vida North = Salta (POSCO)
Sal De Vida South = Catamarca (Galaxy)

"The company, as indicated at that time, advanced in the acquisition of mining properties in the Salar del Hombre Muerto. As a result of the project, Posco Argentina will make an investment of 450 million dollars."

Sounds like the transfer is complete.

"One of the highlights is that Posco developed in 2010 its own lithium production technology, which is proven and in operation."

"According to what Posco foresees, in 2019 the construction of plants will begin and in 2021, production will begin. The two plants will be built in Salar del Hombre Muerto the first, while the second will be installed in the Industrial Park of General Güemes."

The next part revealed quite an interesting picture:

Pay attention here @maxi1981 there will be a test.

Don't forget these comment's by Anthony Tse in the last two Quarterly earnings call's.

    Q2

    Nick Herbert

And in Sal de Vida, just interested in your comments on the potential synergies with POSCO. And do you mind fleshing that out in a bit more detail in terms of what you're thinking there and whether we should be thinking about any changes to those conceptual DFS economics?

    Anthony Tse

No. I think, Nick, as we've kind of outlined in our announcements a couple of times before already, the nature of those operational synergies are very much more commercial and low level in nature. And primarily, that's because, I mean, most likely, we're probably going to be advancing on our main commercial build and development of our project significantly ahead of POSCO because after acquiring the property they still actually have to go through an exercise of defining their reserves, what's going to be their, well, build strategy, actually getting proper feasibility done. They actually then have to go through a completely new cycle in terms of environmental permitting and impact assessment primarily because notwithstanding that the tenements would have grandfathered the permitting that we have had previously, but the processing, technology and therefore, the environmental impact around that processing technology that POSCO is adopting is completely different from Sal de Vida. So they actually have to get those properties completely re-permitted and that's going to be a fairly protracted exercise. And notwithstanding our understanding of the steps that POSCO would take is once they've got over those first initial few percent hurdles as well as obviously having to establish a team on the ground, is that they are probably only going to be first going with a pilot scale operation before they consider probably a more larger scale commercial operation coming into the next decade.

So most likely, very likely, Galaxy will be kind of balancing on its commercial build and therefore developing the infrastructure and everything else substantially ahead of POSCO. But to the extent that there are aspects such as, for example, utility infrastructure, logistics, trucking fees, et cetera, where it makes sense and this has been more at the request of POSCO rather than Galaxy, to the extent that they have an ability to or wanting to piggyback on some of the activities that we are undertaking in that respect, to the extent that there's obviously operational synergies and some cost savings, obviously, that's something that we'll look at. But it's nothing majorly intrusive in terms of our previous thinking around the feasibility set out in our process.

"...Obviously, we've just -- and probably literally the last couple of steps in the final stray in terms of completing a strategic transaction with POSCO on Sal de Vida. So obviously, we have a good -- a very good rapport with them in terms of our relationship and how that transaction went. And yes, we've talked about potential other synergies, whether it's outside of Vida or any other aspects. I mean, POSCO obviously has fairly substantial ambitions, not necessarily so much for the lithium space, the lithium chemical space specifically, but more importantly for the cathode space. So, as you know, they've got a joint venture in Chile. They recently, earlier this year, went into a joint venture with Huayou Cobalt in China on the cathode space as well. In Chile, that joint venture is with Samsung SDI. And in Korea, they obviously have their own plans to kind of build additional cathode capacity. As a result, security of supply in terms of the resource is important for them. And I think there's also a little bit of recognition from POSCO that historically, Galaxy has also built and operated a converter facility in China, which was, at the time, the largest most technologically advanced and highest producing quality. And so I think there's avenues with POSCO subsequent to the completion of the existing transaction that we have in hand to evaluate other potential areas with a further strategic cooperation."

Zoom in and you can see the wind farms.

There wasn't a picture I could have taken that didn't have them in it.

...so if Galaxy will be well ahead of POSCO as Anthony puts it, and POSCO are going to be producing by 2021, then when will Galaxy be producing?

There was also this article going back to the 4th of June this year.

"For his part, the president and the vice president of the Australian company in the country, David Guerero and Diego Mendilaharzu, respectively, announced to the provincial authorities that they will begin to invest in the southern area of the enterprise for the construction of everything that has to do with the development of the project, and that within two years they will start producing lithium carbonate molecule."

Is it 2020 or 2021? - It would have to be 2020 if we are to do as Anthony Tse says, unless something has changed.

I guess we won't know the answer until the company releases an announcement that reveals further information about the plans for Sal De Vida to go into production.

Muchas gracias for keeping Galaxy investors informed

Oh and the opening of the Catamarca photovoltaic park closed envelope tender completes on the 30th of November if anyone is interested.

Official call for tender for photovoltaic solar park

Energy company Catamarca SAPEM made official the call for tenders for the installation of a photovoltaic solar park in Antofagasta de la Sierra, where $ 39,200,000 will be invested, corresponding to the integrated trust with contributions from the company Livent (former FMC). This was known in the special supplement of the Official Gazette that was published yesterday, where it was informed that the offers will be received until November 26 at 2:00 p.m. The work had been announced by Governor Lucia Corpacci in the Legislative Assembly on May 1 last.
