I am not seeing any evidence of increased "for sale" signs in the Eastern Suburbs - my area of concentration. There are more "to let" signs, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to previous December to February periods (traditionally, a slow moving period in both rentals and in property sales).
Sales are still occurring, but the auction season for 2004 will not properly be under way until 7th February.
