Of course Bin laden is a terrorist and is far from innocent
Why do all you guys go to ridiculous extremes in trying to make your arguement
The US and a few other governments would have us believe the AQ is some well form structured organisation with set levels and chains of command. And that somehow the whole organization will collapse if the leaders are taken out in the same manner that taking out the leaders and military commanders in a traditional war would win the war.
Fact is that AQ is more an ideal than an organisation and is made up of many smaller terrorist groups in various locations that work mainly independent of each other but follow the same ideals.
Bin laden represnets more an ideal then he is a leader, an ideal that is not going to die even when he is eventiualy captured or killed
