I agree totally although to be fair to the pharma industry they have not had any thing that looked like being a cure until very recently. What Gilead is doing is very encouraging and I think has a reasonable chance of working based on the SIV monkey data.

BIT has no data at all that BIT225 will aid in a cure for HIV. I know they have been talking it up that it might be part of one, but a 12 week trial in 18 people is not going to provide you with the data to support a cure. Gilead trial in the same area is in 80 people run over more than 3 years and this is only a phase 2 trial. The chances of BIT225 being part of any cure are remote IMO.
