Orbiter, pledges are one thing but sometimes you just have to take advice from the PTB, what other option do we have?
Let me say that I have a commitment, in writing, from MK that he is telling the truth, because if he isn't and we WILL know soon enough, I'll be seeing him in court. He is not immune to litigation and he knows it.
Said and done DH has had throughput and head grade problems. We all know that.
That is close to, if not already sorted. Mt Ida grades are much higher and throughput will increase susbstantially from June onwards.

As both throughput at DH and MtIda increases so too will costs come down. The head grades at Mt Ida are much better than DH.
As for Mt Magnet MK is well connected within the mining industry and has many supporters. Funding will not be an issue. Do I have proof?...of course not,but proof is not always possible.

As for Gold, why the hell would I invest in Gold shares if I wasn't bullish on Gold?

A test of the 1980 high breakout was always going to happen. We should test that level in the next week or so. Gold has tested EVERY major break level since the bull market began back in 2001. $850 will be no exception. Anticipate a swift knock back below $850 to scare the pants off traders and then back up to new highs.

The USD is stuffed and gold is going to $1500 by 2009, it is a no brainer.

If MON is producing anywhere near the 275K oz mark by 2010 with cash costs of $750 p/oz @ $1500+ Au then they will be making very good money and will be worth a great deal more than the current price.

If you think that $1500 Au is non-achievable then you have no place being in a marginal producer, but to those that constantly bash MON without analysing the pros and cons just because of what has occurred in the past, wreaks of short sightedness.

    Companies DO turn things around.
