Maybe I am missing the point of what the OP is saying, what exactly is the OP saying?

I took MS to basically be saying as the SP is trending downwards then it would continue on this trend based on TA alone.

My point on UGL is I believed this to be another company massively unfairly sold, and am annoyed I didn't get to buy in with a margin loan but was waiting on CFE to increase... bah.

UGL was downward trending, until it started upward trending was my point. Eventually fundamentals will kick in to unfairly sold stock. TMR will follow a similar pattern I believe. If the OP's point was that TMR will continue on a downward trend I was arguing eventually fundamentals would kick in. If you sold out of UGL at 11.00 based on a previous downward trend, then in hindsight this would have been erroneous.

Didn't understand some of your technical jargon, sorry. Interesting point on double bottom. Am very afraid TMR will see a double bottom further apart this time :/

Just from an instinctiveness, wouldn't a long downward slope, followed by a sustained sideways trend and followed by an upwards slope suggest 11.5 is a definitive bottom? Don't know anything about TA, but would just seem to make sense to me.

As stated previously, some factors of TA make sense to me, double bottoms, tops and the bottom reaching the top before it bounces, from a logical psychological perspective.

But I think it's unfair to assume SP will fall further because it has fallen already. The SP halted its rise at 14c due to fundamentals in the quarterly report, not from a previous trend. If OP sold and then waited until the trend line was broken at 16c, and TMR wasn't mining through a gap phase and had a more favourable report, then he/she would have lost a large percentage.
