Knowing how these contractors operate I wouldn't be surprised if they upgrade their losses again in a few months...These mega projects are a first of their kind in Australia, the risks born by the contractors are enormous... Let's see what happens when the unions get their new EBAs approved for the melbourne Metro, if it's anything like the Western Gate Tunnel Labour costs will jump up 20-30% and typically 50-60% of a project cost is Labour. Work out the rest..
