    assuming a brickie works just 5 hours a day, they can easily lay 1,000 bricks.....thats only 200 bricks an hour, or 3 bricks per minute.


    of course you need to factor in waiting time, time to mix the cement etc etc, but 1,000 bricks per day sounds possible.....


    of course that would suggest that brickies can earn $250k a year...but as we know, they dont work every single day, and it depends on what work is available....makes me wish I was a brickie !
