GH hasn't missed the point at all but you have. In O & G exploration, the vast majority of wells turn out to be dry. And in O & G generally (i.e. including established majors) Companies' fortunes are affected significantly by POO. That is the nature of the industry. Those who can't stomach the risks associated with this shouldn't invest in the sector.

Those who managed their risk, e.g by averaging down (I did over the years) are less prone to making panic stricken outbursts. I suspect that most off the people who agree with your posts got in entirely at the peak(s) and are therefore suffering the consequences of a major loss of capital.

If you punt on red and it turns out black, don't blame the croupier. Instead, go read up your probability theory.

As to the financing of SNE, FAR have already indicated that this will be funded (from memory) 50% JV financing and 50% equity (something like that). I'm sure that they are working through it and that we will be told more at the appropriate time.

Finally, with regard to a TO bid, if it happens that is up to the shareholders to accept. Have a look at the top 20 - they will decide what is acceptable not a bunch of hyped up punters who piled in at the top.

I hope that your day(s) improves!
