re: two signs in perth You are correct re BGC site...the company should have followed up better and said the deal was completed in my opinion...
The Company announced in November/December 2000 that it had sold to
the BGC group of companies, what it believes to be one of the largest
outdoor electronic screens in Australia, measuring 4m high x 20m
long, to be mounted atop a major Perth city skyline building. This
contract is in the process of completion and is scheduled for
installation in February 2001. A number of other direct sale
proposals are also being addressed at the present time.
You know anything about this one then....?

ASX RELEASE
Lumacom is pleased to announce the receipt of an order from its
Australian non-exclusive Licensee for "chip modules" for a 40 square
metre LumaPanel sign. This order underscores the Company's
manufacturing licensing strategy as part of the Company's world-wide
commercialisation plans and represents the first of a number of
similar orders anticipated from the Licensee.
The LumaPanel sign is destined for a prime West Perth roof-top
location and will be similar in technical specification to the recent
BGC roof-top installation in The Esplanade, Perth (viewable from the
North & South Perth foreshores and Kings Park).
The order is in accordance with the Company's license arrangements,
supplying proprietary modules under a manufacturing licence
agreement. The licence strategy provides for manufacturers to produce
LumaSigns with an exclusive supply arrangement from Lumacom.
Supply is planned for the current quarter with erection of the
display screen shortly afterwards.
