Im told that the "lockout" on the Gold Cost has created an desperate situation. Many drink excessively prior to entering the clubs because of the price of drinks in the clubs. They are admitted. If they are already drunk and miss the lockout, they roam the streets angry. Crime, assault with grievous bodily harm are not only common, but a nightly event on a grand scale. These drunken thugs assault council workers cleaning streets or tending gardens, or anyone given the opportunity. The problem is left up to the private security guards as police appear not to be dealing with it. Lockouts make it worse, at least inside security can watch and intervene.
