trouble is this hair brain scheme has more potential to make things worse not better
Not only have you got more potential for violence in the venues, you have got a great potential when all these trouble makers leave at the smae time.
AS I first posted it is media hype and governments jumping on the band wagon coming up with solutions for problems that are not new and have always been there.
If they want to fix the problem here is how
1. Greater number of police in and around the known hot spots
2. Stiffer penalties for those who do misbehave espesially in relation to violence
3. Improve public transport and taxi services so people can leave the area once they leave the venue
4. More powers to the venue security staff and better back up from police.
5. Larger penalties and even loss of license for venues that do not not make a serious attempt to do the right thing in relation to serving drinks to people who should not be drinking and crowd control.
