regarding lunchroom talk.
it is common for much confusion between exactly what each contractor is paid, and how to value the allowances. In short, not comparing apples with apples. I've seen fIrst hand, crew reps propose "increases" demanded by the crew, because they've heard some other contractor has it, when the outcome is likely to be worse off for the majority of the crew.
at the end of the day, if MND loses a contract because the workforce is too expensive, it is likely that you'll be changing shirts and earning whatever the successful competitor bid.
The only difference between market prIced bidders is culture, and it sounds like this is on the slide at MND...
