They may not need to. If EMR can emerge with a good business plan showing positive cash-flow, with a drilling program that is funded, targeting around 500Bcf as a starting estimate (at $US7K per mmcf worth about $US3.5 billion GROSS ($US2.8 billion to EMR at 80%) then they could see some serious price increase - perhaps 25c or more - and those brave ones buying the options in their darkest hour, may just make a squillion.
Note with gas prices in the US rising rapidly - likely to be $10K/MMBtu giving total value $US5Billion ($US4 billion to EMR) in the near future and EMR could make some seriously large amount of money
