I think one of the key issues with lithium is the dependence on Chinese lithium industry. This channeling of production into one dominant region and only a few major players should allow for manipulation of demand cycles to shift economic surplus from lithium miners to industrial consumers. Is there evidence that this has or is occurring?
Also, both the US and European manufacturing industry's are looking to reduce dependence on Chinese lithium producers, what are peoples views on the progress of supply relationships between Australian lithium miners and both US and Euro industrial users? Who is moving to cultivate ex-Chinese markets for lithium in your opinions?
Cheers
